Una cassa di solidarietà per i condannati/e del Brennero
La sentenza d’appello nel processo per la manifestazione al Brennero del 7 maggio 2016 ha distribuito più di 120 anni di carcere. Se le condanne fossero confermate in Cassazione, una trentina tra compagne e compagni potrebbero finire dietro le sbarre, vari altri avranno bisogno di una casa dove svolgere i domiciliari e in tutti i casi non mancheranno le spese da sostenere.
Collettiva è stata la manifestazione “Abbattere le frontiere” e più collettivo possibile vorremmo che fosse il modo di affrontare la repressione, affinché nessuno/a si ritrovi solo/a.
Per questo abbiamo deciso di creare un’apposita Cassa di solidarietà.
Non solo un numero di conto a cui far arrivare contributi economici, ma anche un contatto per avere materiale informativo, concordare eventuali interventi a concerti o altre iniziative di solidarietà, uno spazio in cui confrontarsi.
Mentre continuano le stragi di immigrati in mare, si allargano i recinti della detenzione amministrativa e aumenta il terrore poliziesco verso chi non ha in tasca i documenti giusti; mentre i lavoratori della logistica e delle campagne si organizzano e resistono contro il razzismo di Stato e lo sfruttamento padronale; mentre s’intensificano i piani di riarmo e di guerra, che sradicano milioni di umani dal loro mondo e colpiscono chi non si allinea; mentre il controllo tecnologico separa sempre di più gli inclusi dagli esclusi, le ragioni per cui siamo andati/e al Brennero quel 7 maggio non hanno fatto che moltiplicarsi. Se è soprattutto nella continuazione della lotta contro guerra e frontiere che si esprime la solidarietà ai condannati/e per quella giornata, una cassa di sostegno è un piccolo – ma necessario – pezzo.

A support fund for the Brenner convicts
The appeal verdict in the trial for the demonstration at the Brenner Pass of the 7th May 2016 doled out more than 120 years in prison. If the sentences are confirmed in the Court of Cassazione, the last stage, around 30 comrades could end up behind bars, several others would need a home where they can serve house arrests, and the expenses to be borne in all cases will not be lacking.
We were together at the demonstration “Break the borders” and as much together as possible we would like to deal with the repression, so no one has to deal with it alone.
This is why we decided to set up a solidarity fund.
Not only an account number to which financial contributions can be sent, but also a contact to ask for information material, to arrange possible interventions at concerts or other solidarity initiatives, and a space in which we can exchange ideas.
Since May 2016, times have not changed for the better. The slaughter of migrants at sea continues, and the fences of administrative detention expand. Police terror increases towards those who do not have the right piece of paper in their pockets. Workers in logistics and the fields try to organise and resist against state racism and exploitation by employers. Rearmament plans and wars intensify, uprooting millions of humans from their world, crushing those who do not stay in line, as increasingly refined technological control separates the included from the excluded.
The reasons for which we fought at the Brenner Pass have only multiplied.
